    Time to send Giolito down!

He has the worst walk ratio in MLB and a 7.23 ERA, go back down and regain your confidence! Hard to see Kopech pitching well in triple A while this guys struggles so!

We just don't have a lot of options now. Giolito has pitched well in the past, but, is in a funk now. Out of spring training,he was pretty much our #1.......

Actually Chatwood has a worse walk ratio!!!! But yeah, he has been AWFUL. His fastball seems to have lost significant MPH this year. Hopefully he can find that as well as his command sometime in the future. I expect Rodon takes his spot in a week or two and Kopech is up in 3-4 weeks.

He will go down, IMO, when Rodon is ready next week (assuming Gio does not have some sort of monster game in his next start). Kopech takes over a spot a few weeks later.

When Rodon and Miguel Gonzalez are healthy you'll have more flexibility for moves like this. But until then he's simply going to have to try and figure it out in the majors, I don't think the Sox are giving him any special treatment. If everyone starts to get healthy, Covey is still pitching well, and Giolito hasn't put together a quality start or two, he's definitely going to be the guy getting the hook.

Rodon back this week, not sure Gonzalez's status.

Well, he had a quality start and win last night. He still walks too many ,but, might survive the really bad streak he was in.
