I obviously missed that. Do you know where I could find that Theo statement?

Happ instead of Zo. Maybe the Cubs are showcasing Happ.

My weather app is showing a 15% chance of rain between 1 and 4. I think they get this one in.

Yeah Iím pretty sure this game is getting played. It was a huge downpour this morning by my house (I live about 10-15 mins away from OíHare) and now itís almost 75 now with minimal clouds. My area shows 40% chance of rain but not until after 5 pm

There's like no rain in the forecast. Maybe after the game.

I think it's that the season splits are so glaring.

    Zo:

    .286/.355/.357/.712
    ISO .071
    wRC+100
    wOBA .319

    Happ

    .308/.333/.557/.910
    ISO .269
    wRC+ 147
    wOBA .388

Guess it was just wishful thinking that they would be showcasing Happ. Guess they could be, but he also should start against lefty. Probably giving Zo the day. He has done well in right replacing Heyward. I would even suggest he has done better defensively then Heyward has this year.

I think with his age/recent injuries they'll treat Zo like a catcher and won't give him lots of Day games after night games.

I think we're getting to the point that the sample size is starting to be enough for Joe with some of these guys.

    JHey on bench against LHP
    Happ in lineup against LHP
Almora in lineup against LHP and some RHP
Schwarbs in lineup against RHP and some LHP
Zobs in lineup against most RHP and some LHP

We may start to see Willy in the OF on occasion to get Caratini some reps

Something along those lines. We'll see

true. The thing is, even with bench guys getting in a line up the Cubs still put out a solid line up daily. And their bench guys are really sort of starters, who happen to sit a little more than others. Joe gets a lot of grief for line up configuration and who is playing or not playing. But in truth with probably 10 starters for 8 positions so he has to mix and match guys so everyone can stay dialed in.

I don't necessarily agree. He's a corner OF and we are already stuck with Heyward, while our other corner OF is an immortal hero who has a 950 OPS. You can stick Heyward in CF but he doesn't seem like a long term option there.

Worst move by far is the Heyward contract. It's a true hindrance.

Prado might be the slowest runner in the league.
