Toronto Blue Jays @ New York Yankees April 19-22 IGT

Toronto Blue Jays @ New York Yankees
Thursday, April 19, 6:35 PM ET , Yankee Stadium

    Aaron Sanchez, RHP

Sanchez is coming off back-to-back quality starts, the latter an eight-inning outing vs. the Orioles in which he allowed just three hits and one run while picking up his first win of the season.

    CC Sabathia, LHP

Sabathia will be activated from the 10-day disabled list to open the Yankees' four-game series with the Blue Jays. Sabathia last pitched on April 6 against the Orioles, working 4 innings and giving up 3 runs before exiting with right hip soreness

Toronto Blue Jays @ New York Yankees
Friday, April 20, 7:05 PM ET , Yankee Stadium

    Marco Estrada, RHP

Estrada carried a no-hitter into the fourth inning of his last start, but then started to experience spasms in his lower back. That impacted his ability to follow through on his delivery, but Estrada has been cleared to make this start.

    Sonny Gray, RHP

Gray has been working on mechanical adjustments following his most recent start, in which he was peppered by the Red Sox for 6 runs over 3-plus innings on April 12. He worked 4 innings of 1-run ball at Toronto on April 1, striking out 8.

Toronto Blue Jays @ New York Yankees
Saturday, April 21, 1:05 PM ET , Yankee Stadium

    Marcus Stroman, RHP

Stroman has been uncharacteristically wild during his first three starts of the season. The product of Duke University has walked 10 batters over 14 2/3 innings, and for his career, he has averaged just 2.5 walks per nine innings.

    Jordan Montgomery, LHP

Montgomery picked up his first victory in his last start, spinning six innings of three-run ball on April 13 at Detroit. Montgomery went 1-0 with an 0.79 ERA in two starts vs. Toronto during his rookie campaign.

Toronto Blue Jays @ New York Yankees
Sunday, April 22, 1:05 PM ET , Yankee Stadium

    To Be Announced

    Luis Severino, RHP

Severino was electric in his last start, hurling six scoreless one-hit innings against the Marlins on Monday with eight strikeouts. He pitched on Opening Day at Toronto, hurling 5 2/3 scoreless, one-hit frames with seven strikeouts.

    Love the optimism.

Did kids tease you when you were young? Steal your toys? Pick you last when choosing sides? Did mom love your siblings more? So many questions so little time.

Hmm I dont know..maybe depth since Austin has his suspension hearing? Maybe they heard something with Birds recovery?

Neil Walker is a much better hitter than he has been, thus far.

My initial thought as well. Golly gee, just what we need more good news on Bird!

didi & stanton flipped in line up toreyes at 3rd

Twitter has gone from "why is he in the lineup???" to "why isn't he in the lineup???" in record time with Andujar
    .

    it's a good question

he's the hotest hitter we have

I know stat geeks probably had this day off planned for a while

but why sit a hot 23 yr old who just had a day off yesterday

when they say '' you never have enough pitching '' they are right
