    WE ARE CURRENTLY WINNING!

No need to overreact and trade anyone. [emoji3]

Well, except for Morrow and Darvish.

Well, Russell, too. When we trade Morrow we'll need another RP and Russell's just the guy to get one.

Russell and Morrow for Wade Davis.

    Darvish for a leadoff guy.

Should be fairly straight forward for Theo to do.

Princeton SS from 1975 has given us a great theme for the 2018 season. His contributions will not be forgotten

Yep, and he is a rental and a lineup fit.

    We will see.

I don't think he's a very good lineup fit? He doesn't get on base or play good CF defense anymore.

If they are adding a bat, a high obp hitter would be preferred. If they don't mind bad CF defense, McCutchen could be a better fit if SF falls out of it.

I would take either. Both would be every day players for us. I agree though, McCutchen is the better (and more expensive) fit.

    VS LHP..
    McCutchen RF
    Bryant 3B
    Rizzo 1B
    Willy C
    Russell SS
    Zobrist LF
    Almora CF
    Baez 2B
    P

    VS RHP...
    McCutchen CF
    Bryant 3B
    Rizzo 1B
    Willy C
    Schwarber LF
    Russell SS
    Heyward RF
    Baez 2B
    P

Happ, Caratini, La Stella, D and Speed guy off the bench.

Jones is a hacker of epic proportions. I don't see the Cubs FO being interested in trading for a player with a 315 career OBP and 42% chase rate.

Would rather not take on Cutch's contract. I'll take Jed Lowrie for half a year tho if worst comes to worst with the young guys. Could play him at 2nd when we play tough righties to spare Javy, and play him at 2nd, move Javy to 3rd, and KB to the outfield against lefties.

Brian Dozier is another name assuming the Twins can't keep up with the Indians. Although they seem like a likely wild card team anyway so idk. He may have the same issue as Donaldson tho as far as being out of our price range.

    Isn't Cutch an expiring contract?
