Tyler Flowers hurt during his first at bat. Fouled off an outside pitch and left the game. Looked like he was hurt during the twisting motion of his swing. Oblique maybe. Suzuki is in now.

Hopefully Suzuki can stay healthy. Nice double play there.

Turned it off after Rexxy B issued 2 straight BBs to force home a run.

Teheran wasn't bad, but not #1 starter at all.

Lol @ Snitker getting thrown out by the third base umpire as far away as possible from the dugout.

Great 9th inning by Vizcaino though. I didn't realize he was such a flamethrower. 99? I knew he threw hard but I thought 96 or so.

Markakis with the walk off HR, as we all saw happening to start the game

    Strange But True:

Nick Markakis hit no HR in spring training in 44 plate appearances.

He'd never hit a walkoff HR in 12 big-league seasons.

But he just launched a walkoff against Hector Neris on Opening Day.

    Baseball!

**** yeah, Markakis! Great job from the 7th inning on. Teheran had pretty good stuff today, but he needs to be sharper. I hope he can consistently perform as a solid number 2 pitcher for us while someone like Gohara or Folty can develop to be our ace.

That was a truly awesome ending to a game and don't get upset with Teheran. It is just the first game and he did better in the home park so far.

Great game, great start for the team, I'm still baffled on why Kapler took Nola out in the 6th with less than 70 pitches but thank you I guess. Albies showed some power right away, I can see 15+ homers for him, Freddie being Freddie and Markakis with the big hit. I think Snitker pulled Teheran a bit early too, Brothers came in and just killed Teheran's line, he didn't pitch as bad as his line looked.

I've seen him throw 100 plenty, he has a big arm, control is his problem at times.

This game did remind me of last year in that the Braves were able to score late in the game and since they were at home was able to win on a walk-off.
