There are some new mock drafts coming out and looks like Singer is falling out of the top 10.....It is getting interesting, also looks like a deep draft....

Even with the quality pitching we have, I don't know how you pass on a couple of these pitchers...

Zavala is unconscious right now! Move him up to AAA and let him catch some Kopech games.

Dunning with his 1st win at AA!

Adolfo, Basabe, Rutherford, Sheets are all hitting well at high A.

Eloy is starting to drive the ball.

Canít wait to see Robert get some PT.

Reynaldo already looking good in the Majors.

    Gilioto is doing ok.

    Rodon close to returning.

Moncada is heating up with the weather! Could be in for a big summer.

Tim Anderson has already BB'd half as many times as he did the last 2 complete seasons. He's also running well and hitting decent. Still no sold on his defense at SS.

Only a matter of time until we see Kopech up here.

As bad as our start is, there is so much to like about where we are heading

I'm wanting a SS or Third basemen.
Nolan Gorman, Brice Turang or or Nander de Sedas.

Technically not really a need (3B and SS) I get where you are coming from. I'd expect them to take a pitcher. but wouldn't be surprised if they went there. Current mocks show pitching, but a lot can change in the next six weeks.

I like Nick Madrigal but I think we will go high school player to spread out the farm. We are stocked up with 20-23 year old talent.

To me, high school kids are too hard to project, too big a risk at #4.

Thatís what Hahn said though. Maybe he didnít mean with the 1st puck but heís quoted saying they want to spread out the talent more with younger guys so everyone isnít approaching the majors at the same time

Looks like we get a top 10 pick this year and probably next year. That along with the high 2nd round picks should keep the system going for a while. However, if we start unloading specs for vets to fill holes on the ML team......that could wreck the pipeline.

We aren't going to trade any one with a pulse in our system under the age of 25 until we are actually in a playoff race so that's not really going to be an issue this year. The guys I see getting moved are:

Avisail Garcia if he goes on a hot streak when he returns from injury.

Soria who is decent numbers and is a vet.

Nate Jones who holds a little value when healthy with his power arm, but he doesn't really fit in with us long term.

Hector Santiago who would be a solid long reliever/spot starter for a contender so he has value for sure.

Jose Abreu which I think is unlikely but he has the most value via a trade for us but I know we like him as a mentor

Davidson if he could keep hitting HR's and keep his BA serviceable around .250 or so.
