Do you think there値l be a logjam of wings with Kuz, Bi, Bron & PG?

I was thinking that if we do indeed sign the 2 big guns this summer, won稚 we have too much redundancy in our wing spots with those 4 guys at the expense of losing Julius, who痴 different from all of those guys?

The Deng contract is holding us back from being able to keep Julius and signing PG and Bron. Let痴 be real here. Jimbaco and Cupcake really wet the bed here.

So my question is, should the Lakers look to possibly trade Ingram (I view him as a poor man痴 PG) and attach him to the Deng contract so that we keep Julius while signing Bron and PG, and still have Kuz with Zo?

My gut feeling tells me that Magic was willing to trade Ingram for Boogie last year but Jimmy and Mitch never consulted him on that deal. I have a feeling that Magic views BI as our most tradeable asset. This will help us get rid of Deng and open cap space to retain JR and sign Bron and PG, and prevent that logjam at the wing spot.

    Thoughts.

What about Anthony Davis kristaps porzingis and Julius randle. That'd be a log jam too, right?

How was Boogie and AD working out prior to the Boogie injury?

    Not too great, right?

    Now look at NOLA.

Right. So let's not logjam any positions.. I'd rather have a complete team than to have 8 small forwards all scrapping for minutes.

Would be extremely hard for me to trade our 20year old potential Super Star. I think he and ZO are our most untouchable players.

Firsr off that kind of "log jam" Will be a welcome problem to solve.

2nd- bron basically plays the 4 now. Kuz is a back up 4/3.

Ingram is a 3 but can play 1.

Pg13 is a traditional 3 but can easily play the 2.

A lineup of (death lineup blah blah)

    Zo
    Pg13
    BI
    Bron
Randle can switch everything and run teams off the court.

    Or if need more shooting

The same but move bron to 5 and kuz at the 4.

It wouldn't really be a problem imo.

I'm not trading ingram unless we get those 2 (pg+lbj) and we package ingram for AD or maybe giannis (he said he doesn't wanna be in la but who knows)

Adding PG & LBJ doesn't really create a logjam cause LBJ will be moved to PF and Randle to C.

A logjam would be to add PG this summer and then going after one of Klay, Kahwi or Butler next summer. Trying to add 1 of them 3 to a rotation that already would include PG, Ingram, Hart & Kuzma.

Couldn't have said it better. Lavar, trading BI is not an option at this time. And I am actually glad Pelinka is the GM and not Magic. Rob Lowe would not trade BI.

You are correct though with Deng. If we get PG and Lebron and keep Randle, we would have to do something with Deng. That would have to be a trade or stretch. Most likely a stretch. Cap space is going up and we can eat the remainder. I think we can make Randle an UFA and then sign him after the other guys and go over the cap about 20 mil and still be under the luxury. I am not a CBA guy so Vinyl can give you more details on that one.

Look at it this way. I two years BI could be a superstar. Lebron would be a one way player. Won't be able to play defense on a nightly basis. We would lose BI for Lebron now. And even with Lebron, we are not beating Golden State.
