Without knowing all the details, 3 years seems like a bit much for a guy who seemed to be regressing even before tearing his Achilles.

That last year has to be one of those years that a player never sees because itís insanely high.

Man this feels awkward. Like being forced to have dinner with your girls old lover or something. (I was really trying for a good analogy here but I miss.)

Yeah this is strange. I'm not jumping off a bridge till I see the details. As someone said, I expect it to be structured so a lot of the money is non guaranteed towards the end.

NFC West has completely turned upside down in the last year. Seahawks and Cardinals have dropped and the Rams and 49ers have become the favorites.

I'm a Patriots fan but always liked Sherman I don't get why this team is so cheap at times. Yes I get that he hasn't been the same in yrs but I bet they never even offered him a deal. I'm predicting two things will likely happen.
San Fran and Philly will meet in the NFCCG game next season and the Patriots are gonna be the Browns after Belichick and Brady retire.

It's more like you're having dinner with the dude who used to kick your *** and give you wedgies in high school.

So, it's basically the signing bonus (5M) prorated over 3 years, year 1 ends up being a ~7M cap hit, after that no other guarantees for '19 or '20 unless he makes the Pro Bowl this year.
