I'll be kinda surprised if we don't land Wilson.

I'm guessing the WR corps looks something like this next year...

    -Albert Wilson
    -Cam Meredith
    -Kevin White
-2nd or 3rd round draft pick
    -Lower tier FA signing

IMO that would be OK, not great. It really depends on what scheme Nagy runs. Consider also that Cohen will probably catch a ton of passes and run a ton of routes.

McPhee is a lock to miss time, Young isn't what he was. The biggest difference to me is that we'd just be older and more expensive. It would have been a pressing need either way.

No I completely agree, would much rather younger guys get reps and just hope somebody breaks out. I think it's our best chance, but overall we're likely looking at having that void not fill till next year.

They are going to bring in someone to at least try and fill that #1 WR spot. No way that goes unaddressed.
    #1 - FA
    #2 - CAM
    #3 - Wilson
#4 - draft pick or FA
#5 - Last ride of Kevin White, Inman or lower tier FA, lower level draft pick.

This would be disappointing. I like Wilson, but he can't be your only big FA signing at the position.

I definitely agree on Cohen though. He's going to have a more significant role in the passing game.

I think that'd be a top 5 TE salary, or close to it, but I wouldn't hesitate with Burton. He's going to be a stud in the right situation.

I can't blame Fuller if he wants to test the market, but I don't understand why you wouldn't at least tag him if he's not interested in signing an extension before FA.

I have a feeling the Bears will get a deal done with Fuller.

I will say that i don't understand Miami's want to move up for a qb unless they don't trust Ryan Tannahill

    But.....

    #8 for Landry and #11

Draft Jackson or Ward at 11 to pair with fuller
Draft best OLB in the 2nd

    Resign Fuller

And sign one of the guards in FA Norwell preferred..... But Pugh or Mewhort or Kline

And that would not look too bad. With nearly 50 mil to fill in the gaps.

    Not bad.

Fyi. Assuming 15 for Landry.... 10 for fuller and 5-10 for the guard. With nearly 95. Thst would bring us down to around 60 mil or so.

Because Tannehill is coming off an injury again and his 2019 cap hit is over $21M.

Plus another reason to grab a QB this year is next yearís group doesnít look good right now.
