Actually 23 next week, but I get the point. He keeps mashing he will be hard to ignore or send down for very long. He's doing what he he supposed to do, make it a competition and a very difficult decision!

Does anyone feel like Jake Arrieta could be in pinstripes within the next few days and report to Tampa for spring training?

Plot twist: Unk is really Mazda. Mush looks up to him as a father figure going back to their AOL days.

Unk said that Judge will be in the same lineup with Stanton today as he will DH with 2 at bats.

Unk said the Yankee may have overreacted when the traded for Drury. The soon to be 23yr old is lighting it up the lamp with clutch HR's.

This late in the game will only get Jake a 3 yr deal at best.

A one year deal by the Yankees will cost at least $16 million...Too expensive...

I would only want 1 year anyways plus an incentive driven deal. I just heard mystery team in on him and wondered if that was Cashman calling. Rather get Cobb, but he was QOed and requires comp to the Rays. Plus he wants too much $ and years.

The Yankees could give him a one year deal for $10 million with a player option for three more years at $25 million. Then , only $10 million would count against the salary cap (Though, they'd take a charge in year two for the average of the extended contract less the $10 million). Of course, the Yankees might not want to give up the draft picks and international pool money, since they anticipate doing it and losing them next year, as well.
