He will also be the QB coach. There will be no 'QB' coach hired.

    According to Kim Jones.

So, I guess he is the OC/QB coach.

I know nothing about him other than panthers fans hating him.

Heís not calling plays so I donít get this uproar by Giants fans on Twitter. But I think we can all come together and agree the Rooney rule is Bs. So many retreading coaches.

I don't hate it. I don't know anything about him but with shurmur calling the plays it'll probably end up being a good hire. Panthers fans probably hated him because of his playcalling, but he won't be doing that here.

This can't be any worse than the tag team of McAdoo and Sullivan, can't it?!?!?!

His offense ranked #1 back in 2015.

Cam Newton ranks at the bottom of accuracy on his throws. So, I'm sure some of that came into play.

I don't hate the hire, don't love it. But, interesting to see how it plays out.

Good article from BBV. It kinda goes with what I said above. The hate from Panthers fans were directly related to his playcalling and lack of in-game adjustments. He won't be doing any of that here. Consensus is that he does bring a creative mindset and a offensive style that attacks the defense at every level.

I'll give the FO and shurmur the benefit of the doubt on this one.

Every fan base hates their OC. I thought he did fine in Carolina. Especially considering he didn't have a whole lot of talent to work with.
