Kazmir has guaranteed money, and alot of it. Id go with him to start, we all know he won't stay healthy. If he does and pitches well maybe we can deal him to someone.

if Tucker keeps hitting would Acuna replace Markakis in RF when he comes up?

I don't really know if they're worried about the money with Kazmir, at least I don't think they should be. I feel like we should roll with whichever one pitches better regardless of salary and try to move them based on performance. Maybe Sanchez would get more in a trade if he pitches well given his lower salary?

So until Acuna is called up is our clean up hitter going to be a Suzuki or Flowers, depending on who is catching?

    Probably. Tucker maybe?

You think it changes anything when he does come up? I wouldn't imagine he would change the lineup much at first would you? Get him some ML ABs lower in the order or just throw him into the fire? He's been hitting well enough in ST, but I don't put much faith there.

Snit started off Swanson and Albies batting 8th but maybe he's aggressive with Acuna. I wouldn't hit him any lower than 6th when he is called up. Gotta get him at bats.

Finally getting a chance to see the Braves during spring training. I like seeing Snitker being aggressive when they get on base. With limited power (even with Acuna) stealing makes a big difference.

Tigers are helping with some bad defense.

Ronald Acuña Jr. since being sent to AAA.

HBP, BB, H, BB, H, double, BB, BB, zero outs plus 2 steals https://t.co/Xs3VaGtEhQ

Love how people are still asking if is swing is fixed...

I can’t tell if you’re joking or not but the swing fixed thing has a back story. There was a good who called himself a baseball “analyst,” who claimed Acunas swing was really long and he’d struggle, so anytime he does something good, people tweet and asked if his swings still long or if it’s fixed yet.

#Braves’ Kazmir left game with “arm fatigue” and situation will be evaluated to determine course of action.

Seems he threw 90-100 pitches in a side session Wednesday being he did not think he was going to be pitching so soon again. So might still be ok.

I’d rather bring up Fried to pitch 5th if/until Gohara is ready. I don’t trust Sanchez.

Yea I'm confused why Fried isn't getting a shot either.

Is really strange, that guy pitched in the majors already, and was effective. I don't understand why the Braves didn't pitch him more often this spring. Maybe he's hurt?
