Eli Manning has confidence he can still play at a high level. He points out that his brother showed that great things can happen in the late part of careers. That is true, but I think Tom Brady has made that point in a little stronger way than Peyton Manning did.

Nah Manning is the oldest QB to ever win a Super Bowl.

LOL. The Broncos only offensive touchdown was on a 4-yard drive. But I'm just being a dick for fun. Manning still had to get them to the Super Bowl, including beating the all-mighty Patriots.

    Supplemental Draft
New York Giants: Sam Beal [CB, WMU], Round 6
Washington: Adonis Alexander [CB, VT], Round 7

Two players picked in the Supp is unusual. Oftentimes there's zero players picked.

I think the Giants spent a 3rd round pick for Sam Beal.

New York Giants: Sam Beal, CB, Western Michigan, third round.

Washington Redskins: Adonis Alexander, CB, Virginia Tech, sixth round.

That information is correct; I was just going to point that out. The report I read yesterday got the rounds wrong. There's no way I could be at fault on anything.

Manning riding the coattails of his defense against Carolina reminds me of Joe Namath in Super Bowl 3. Everybody acts like he put up 52 points instead of 16. But in Namath's defense, 16-7 was a normal score in those days (in the pros and college). Peyton played well when the Colts beat the Bears in the 2006 Super Bowl, but giving him the MVP was pretty dumb.

    This bot account is interesting.
    First 4 years:
    Brown - 54 GP, 27 GS, 261 catches (63.3%) for 3,561 yds (8.6 AVG), 15 TD
    Landry - 64 GP, 57 GS, 400 catches (70.2%) for 4,038 yds (10.1 AVG), 22 TD

Huh. Wonder why Landry is getting paid so much...

"Hater" is a term used by weak minded people in the face of legitimate criticism.

Devon Kennard's position with the Lions will be ELB (outside linebacker on the edge) in a 3-3 defense. HC Matt Patricia and DC Paul Pasqualoni will also use the 3-4 and 4-3, but the 3-3 big nickel will be the favored set vs. 2-WR. Kennard was a 4-3 OLB with the Giants, but has experience on the line of scrimmage as a nickel DT in NY.

Why? Does it have something to do with royalties?

Also, isn't it kind of confusing to have Madden 2019 come out in 2018? They're starting to do the same thing in the auto industry.

This is what they've done forever in the auto industry
