Norwell wasn't a fit. I doubt that we were ever involved with him. For what Watkins got, I'm glad we didn't get him. The only signing that is disappointing is Robinson.

Yeah. I'm not sure if the plan is for him to play center or guard. He's a considerable upgrade to Kilgore at center in my opinion.

According to MM, Shanny said he expects Kilgore to be Center after he signed his extension, at minimum I see Richburg spending this year at Guard. Could move on from Kilgore pretty cheaply after this season.

seeing that Kilgore can also play C/G i think it might just be a situation that you just find the right combination of players that gel with each other on the OL and go with it. the mix of Kilgore, Weston, Garrnett, and tomlinson will be the interior i wouldnt be shocked if we took an OT in the draft and let him battle for the OG spot as well. and just bump him out to OT once Joe Retires

Cousins to the Vikings is great news for us. QB needy team are going to have to take them early if they want them.

Yeah, but Shanahan said that prior to signing Richburg.

I'm not sure how I feel about the Richburg signing... we just extended Kilgore and Richburg is a bit small for a G (even for the zone blocking scheme). Also Richburg is coming off concussion issues last year. Maybe it's just more mere disappointment that we didn't get Norwell or Robinson.

And I am so happy we didn't get Watkins. I did not want him at all.

Either way... in Lynch and Shanahan I trust.

Richburg is a great signing. I read he was the number one rated o lineman in 2016 and had injuries last year, but is young. Sitton next?

I highly doubt we sign another interior lineman after the Richburg signing
