See I don't get this....his cost is less the issue than his fit going forward IMO.
    gotta love 'referential' treatment

IMO his cost is the biggest issue. He's currently a top 5 RB in terms of average and his production is nowhere near that. I've been advocating dumping him and signing Blount since day 1. I hope it happens.

Let's dump Mckinnion and Murray. Sign Blount and hope Cook can stay healthy.

I was surprised to see their stats, I felt like our running game was better than that.

If we cut Murray do we end up bringing McKinnon back? I like Jet for the right price but he knows he's second fiddle which is the main reason he wants to explore FA.

Case Keenum - QB - Free Agent
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports free agent QB Case Keenum intends to sign with the Broncos.
Yahoo's Charles Robinson confirmed Schefter's report. The Broncos reportedly decided against committing to Kirk Cousins, who would undoubtedly command a mega-deal. Perhaps Denver also realized that Cousins wasnít coming there. The Broncos have been linked to Keenum throughout the offseason since the 30-year-old was first signed by Denver senior personnel advisor Gary Kubiak as an UDFA when the two were together with the Texans. This shouldnít preclude the Broncos from using the No. 5 overall pick on a quarterback.

I don't know what you're thanking Denver for. It's been obvious for a while now that it was unlikely he'd be staying in Minny. What you SHOULD be doing is thanking Case for what he did for us last year.

It's truly amazing the lack of respect this forum gives Case. The guy helped us win 11 games last year and a win in the playoffs. That doesn't happen very often for us Vikings fans. He deserves a great deal of our respect.

Jet needs to realize no team is going to make him the feature back. No team is going to give him 20-25 carries a game because he is simply not that type of back. Hopefully we do cut Murray, Jet sees he won't be number one anywhere, and we bring him back.

He deserves all the respect in the world but not 20+ million dollars

I don't think either will be back. Jet is reportedly looking at offers of 6-7 million a year. Vikings won't match that. If Murray is cut (hopefully) I expect Spielman to sign a cheap back up. Blount is ideal.

That doesn't change what he did for this team and organization last year.
