Maybe we can get Decker, Celek, Joekel and Janakowski.....maybe a Bennie Logan....is Celek a better TE than Rudolph? Plus we have his coach calling our plays now

Looks like McKinnon got a nice payday....

    Jerick McKinnon - RB - 49ers
    Mar 14 - 9:02 AM

49ers agreed to terms with RB Jerick McKinnon, formerly of the Vikings, on a four-year, $30 million contract.

That $7.5 million average makes McKinnon the league's fourth-highest-paid running back. Our own Evan Silva labeled McKinnon a "poor man's Alvin Kamara" as an in-space playmaker who can run it and catch it. McKinnon doesn't turn 26 until May and has an upward-pointing arrow coming off a career year and joining one of the league's most exciting offensive play-callers in coach Kyle Shanahan. McKinnon totaled 991 yards and five touchdowns last season and is now penned in as the Niners' top back after Carlos Hyde signed with Cleveland.

Love McKinnon but as a compliment back. I don't think he can handle the full load but good for him...get paid while you can. What does the comp pick look like with this and with Case/Sam?

Ehh it's still bad. Plus the guys signing right now are signing to start. Murray will see at best a handful of touches a game.

I dont think the Vikes will throw a full workload at dalvin after an ACL injury. It takes a solid year/year and a half at least to get back to normal, so they'll surely split it more "especially" early on. Plus he's still the short yardage/goalline back so I could see them asking him to restructure a bit just to keep him around for this year at least.

I can't find it but I recall reading Zimmer saying Cook is going to get the bulk of the touches. If we want to take it easy on him early I would rather just sign Blount. He's made a combined 2.25 million the last 2 years. We could get him for 1-1.5 million.

Lol I still hope that when he does finally decide to hang it up he retires a viking. I mean, he's one of the most popular viking players of all time ...

What about Sharrif Floyd, B Rob and Latavius Murray contracts? That's another 15 million in cap space. I'd like to see them keep B Rob and keep Murray or sign Blunt

    Thoughts?
