    I read somewhere that each of the last handful of superbowls have had at least 1 team in the top 3 in defense. Seeing as most of the superbowl teams also have a good offense...I'd say a well rounded team that has small weaknesses win championships.

    LOL yeah. I started the post by agreeing then my mind wandered and I realized that these superbowl teams mostly all have good offenses AND defenses.

    Well except Jacksonville. Their QB is god awful and they win in spite of him.

    Yup, yet their offense isn't terrible. Run game is top notch despite teams loading the box against them. They've also got a **** ton of talent in the receiving core. Bortles is trash, but the offense is okay.
