1/11/18 Sixers vs Celtics in London

We are back after 6 days off to take on the Celtics in London at 3:00EST. We come in having won 4 in a row and 5 out of 6 while Boston has won 6 in a row themselves.

We lost at home early in the season by 9 in probably our worst played game at full strength but this should be a fun game with both teams coming in hot with plenty of recovery time. Ill be able to tune in as we will have it on at work, thankfully. Looking forward to this one!

Really excited for this game. Some people aren't fans of the NBA having a game in London, but I think it's a cool idea. Gives the team an opportunity to play on a big stage in an other continent. Let's go Sixers

Has anyone seen JJ make a layup this season? God dam he's awful at finishing layups that are contested even a little bit.

nothing new about this game.... basically the same old same old.... anyone wanna tell me why we sat Ben for what seemed like 3 games worth of minutes during the 3rd and a portion of the 4th when the celtics put us away? There was a point where our announcer said the coach is in Bens ear maybe he is teaching him something because ben was off the floor for what seemed like an eternity.... but here is the kicker... at one point when the celtics were rolling we had both Ben and Embiid off the floor and had a line up of holmes/Bayless/Reddick/TJ/Booker..... Really really think about that for 1 ****ing second lol

Take a look at the bold and tell me again why i shouldnt blame brett brown? This type of crap is infuriating... why dont we slow it down when we have a big lead or make some adjustments? these stats below show that other teams adjust while we continue our same strategy even though it isnt working.

Sixers are 27th in the league in 3rd quarter points allowed.

We are also 27th in the league in 3rd quarter ASST/TO ratio.

In the 3rd quarter, we have a TO% of 19.7, good for WORST IN THE LEAGUE. Next closest is the heat at 17.2.

In the 3rd quarter, the sixers have the highest pace in the league.

We will have ups and downs but i hate when we get a big lead because it feels like its an auto loss. Now today just isnt on brett but embiid as well... embiid looked like he didnt care in this game for whatever reason but holy **** this same trend and those stats above are disgusting.

Just slow the ****ing game down and dont turn it over and run a half court offense and we can maybe finally keep a big lead.

Embiid has been terrible against the Celtics. Holmes got abused.

And here we have our first "why was ben sitting" after a period of "ben should sit because he's hurting".
