Lobster is good, but overpriced and overrated: Thoughts?

Lobster is good, but overpriced and overrated. Crab and shrimp are much better in terms of seafood. What do you think?

Give me poor man's lobster (haddock) for the price. Fish is just so pricey in general.

Escargot (snails) is good, especially with butter. I have only had it once because it's real expensive.

Jimmy, I grew up in Brooklyn where the lobsters came out of the ocean fresh daily. Nothing like it. Delish.

In New England, it's a bit cheaper. In Los Angeles, it's way overpriced and I don't eat....$28.00+/lb. in many restaurants.

You eat lobster in any chain and it's really garbage.

Best lobster in the world come from New England. Nothing like eating freshly caught steamed lobster in Maine....

I love almost all seafood, but generally dislike both lobster and crab legs. Escargot is my jam eat it probably 5-6 times a year, and just about anytime it's on a menu. Mussels oysters and then fish in general love it all.

Got to say I've been on a huge catfish kick lately.

I grew up on the northeast coast and caught lobster both diving and in traps.I prefer it way over shrimp and over crab.I do love most ocean fish and it is sad to see it continue to diminish causing the prices to sky rocket.

I do love me some lobster. But it is way overpriced. Especially considering it's all about how good the butter is you're dipping it in.
