Let last night's games be a lesson to all of you. NEVER look ahead. Concentrate on the here and now.
If the Cowboys go 8-0.
If the Rams lose Game 17, they could get a favorable matchup in the SECOND round of the playoffs.
We're leading 21-3 at halftime. Who's next?
If this happens. If that happens.
As far as the Eagles are concerned, it is now the Atlanta Falcons that they have to concentrate on. That is all that the players AND the fans should be worrying about.
Minnesota will need to worry about either New Orleans or Carolina.
Because if you worry about 2 or 3 games ahead, and your team loses before that, it makes you look stupid.
The Rams and their fans thought that if they lost week 17 that they could get an "easier" matchup against the Eagles in the SECOND round. Now the ONLY thing that they have to look forward to is the draft.
This week, the ONLY thing that Eagles fans need to worry about are the Falcons and NOT the Vikings or whoever they might play in the Super Bowl.
Vikings fans are looking ahead to playing an "easier" game against the Eagles.
Chiefs fans probably thought that they could look ahead.
If a fan worries about ANY game....it has ZERO effect on the outcome
gotta love 'referential' treatment
The falcons and Eagles caught a break it's supposed to be in the forties in Philly Saturday with light rain.
