The Chiefs had a total of 4 possessions the whole second half, one of which being gifted to them by Adoree Jackson. Again, dropped passes that killed drives and the missed FG killed them much more than Reid's playcalling did, or at least those are my two cents, not knowing a whole lot about the Chiefs and how they played this year. It's not like Hunt was the one that got them the lead in the first place, they did it through Smith picking apart the defense. And they did it with Kelce who the Titans haven't figured out an answer for (up until that point), who missed the second half.

Hunt averaged 3.8 for the night. I get it that he's an explosive playmaker when given the chance, but Tennessee has quite a solid front to stop the run. This was slept on before the game, and I still don't think people are giving them credit for it, but they finished 4th in the league in Y/A with 3.6 allowed, and 1st in rushing TDs allowed, with only 5 allowed for the year.

Not being able to respond to the Titans O, that's what lost them the game. Titans have controlled the clock in the second half with sustained drives and scored a TD on their every possession minus the last one, in which they were still able to convert and finish the game. You can't really expect to win a playoff game like that.
The fact is all 4 of those drives were wasted. But it wasnít simply second half. After the two quick scores they immediately watered down the offense. And it remained that way until the last drive. And they scored with ease.

As far as hunt. If heís getting 3.8 a carry you continue to feed him the ball. Just because he averaged 3.8 on 11 carries doesnít mean thatís all he will ever have. Ask any chiefs fan that has watched every game this year and they will agree. He should never touch play calling again.

That's called the Andy Reid special. 11 carries for Kareem Hunt after having a 3 td lead. It's inexcusable to not feed Kareem Hunt when the offense has lived and died off of the run game all season.

Reid can only call/allow so many running plays until he can't stand it anymore; then it's pass-pass-pass. He was run out of Philadelphia for the same thing. OC Matt Nagy (now the Bears head coach) was supposedly calling plays, but Andy probably told him to stop all those runs and put the whole game on the great Alex Smith (even though Travis Kelce was out of the game at that point).
