Unsurprisingly, Christian Kirk declared today. Wouldn't be surprised if he's in contention for our pick come April.

The value for a WR @8 vs @37 is night and day.
The average # of WR's drafted the past 3 years from #1-#36 is 4, meaning we will likely have a shot at a top 5 WR in the 2nd.
One of Ridley/Sutton/Kirk/Miller/Washington. THAT is value.

I'm not suggesting he'll be the pick, or that I'd even be okay with it. Just expecting him to shoot up the draft boards after the combine and given our needs, he'll be talked about much like Ridley.

I agree with targeting one in the 2nd too. I believe #8 needs to be a pass rusher or OL, at least in terms of the prospects that could/should be there (Chubb/Key/Ferrell, Williams/Nelson).

There are several 2nd round receivers I like anyway, like St Brown and Miller the most for example. Not a big fan of Sutton though...super raw, sloppy route runner. Doubtful either Ridley or Kirk drop that far, but you never know this far out.

I still have no problem with Ridley at #8, as of right now. Assuming his 40 time remains something at/around his previous 4.35 I don't anticipate that changing.

I just can't get behind Ridley. I'm afraid he will be swallowed by the physicality of the NFL. He could be Reggie Wayne, but I wouldn't be willing to take that risk at 8.

Id be pretty thrilled with Chubb, Key, or Ferrell in the first and Simmie Cobbs Jr in the second. Reminds me of Alshon a bit.

Very early on I agree with this...There isnt a WR in this draft as of right now I feel comfortable with at 8.

Could be some very intriguing prospects at 37 however.

If we go WR in the first. I would hope to trade down about 6-10 spots and take whichever of Kirk or Ridley is left. Sutton could be added but I like the other teo more.

Then get an extra 2nd or an actual 3rd.

I read an article this morning where Ryan pace said "we have seven picks in the draft" does this mean the conditions in the Inmon trade were not met or do they have multiple picks in a round other than 4?

Conditions weren't met on the Inman trade, so we still have our 7th.

Inman was a few receptions short so the condition wasn't met.

Good, I like him as a #3/#4 receiver, hope they keep him.

Rosen and Darnold (really thought he was staying) both just declared. Excellent news for us.

Any chance either refuses to work out for the browns.
