If we would have beat Cincinnati we would be in the playoffs and Caldwell would have kept his job. Now let the speculation of who we go after. I've read where we would go after Matt Patricia to keep the offensive side of the ball in tact.

Hail the colors Blue and Silver let them wave.
Sing their song and cheer the Gridiron Heroes brave,
Fighting for fame, winning the game,
Dashing to victory as they go.

    Forward down the field,
A charging team that will not yield.
And when the Blue and Silver wave,
    Stand and cheer the brave.
    Rah, Rah, Rah.
    Go hard, win the game.
With honor you will keep your fame.
    Down the field and gain,
    A Lion victory!

been waiting a long time for this day.............!!

So far I have heard Matt Patricia, Mike Vrabel (Texans DC), and Steve Wilks (Panthers DC). I do not mind the idea of the Lions keeping the offensive coaching staff in place but the Lions need to bring in a run game coordinator or someone like that to help the run game function. JBC does not do that.

I believe Steve Wilks is our Rooney Rule requirement and Quinn either goes with Vrabel or Patricia with him leaning towards Patricia.

Patricia will be the guy. The NFL Old boys club lives on.

Iím happy weíre looking at defensive minded coaches, but Jim Bob needs to go!

Possibly, but he has overseen a really good Panthers defense over the last few years. It would be silly of the Lions to not at least consider him, more than just filling a rule.

Looks like we'll bring in Patricia while retaining JBC and T.Austin

i predicted that when BQ first came in. but I had Patricia bringing in his own DC..

we'll see. i'm thinking the first scenario will occur

If we bring in Patricia and keep both coordinators... Patricia will not be calling any of the shots and be nothing more than a pawn and we wonít be very good. Players will see through that quickly. I could see us keeping JCB although I think it could be a mistake. JBC needs to shoulder a lot of the blame with Caldwell because Caldwell very much admitted he didnít like offensive play calling duties so I think he pretty much let JBC do his own thing. or head coach deserves the right to bring in his own guys and elevate us to the next level. Keeping all of the coaching staff minus HC which all of our players loved isnít the answer.

I think if Patricia is hired he brings his own coaches for the D but JBC is retain to run the offense.

Yeah, that would be pretty horrible. Lions need to do whatever they can to keep TA.
