Wait a minute...isn't Hart the fool that raped a escort then ran her over with his car?

Exactly their defense is just as good before him. They don't beat anyone but bad teams and bad QBs. Even Eli has owned that defense

I am not at all advocating keeping Marc Ross and I support his firing . That said, the way it was done is disturbing unless there is something that we do not know.

Why couldn't Gettleman have waited until the season had ended to fire Ross ? What good was it to fire him with one game remaining in the season, he couldn't do anything anyway? It looks like there are going to be other changes made administratively.

I am just disappointed in the lack of class shown, unless as I previously said, there is something that we do not know.

Maybe he can bring DeFilippo with him as OC unless he is the OC for the Eagles presently. If he is than maybe Frank Reich will become the OC.

Perhaps he is showing everyone who's the boss and that he isn't playing games. I have no issue with that.

I'd sacrifice some class in the name of winning. There is no congeniality trophy to be won here. And if there was, I wouldn't be going to no ticker tape parade for that trophy because it's meaningless.

My issue with Schwartz is that he was really not anything great as a HC in Detroit and had quite a bit of talent there. We also just went through having a guy run this team that is a very good coordinator and not a good head coach. Why take a gamble like that?

I just do not understand the timing of the firing. We all knowq that there is going to be wholesale changes coming . For what I understand Ross was not a bad guy. The fact that he was interviewed , even though he had no chance , indicated that he had some respect within the organizaion. I think he could have been treated better and right now I have lost some respoct for Gettleman as an individual not as a GM .

Schwartz would be awful pick. He wasn't good in Detroit with that talent

I actually think Schwartz is a solid pick. Has experience as both a HC (with obviously mixed results, though don't forget he inheirted an 0-16 team) and very successful DC. He's got a fire in his belly and will command a ton of respect from our players (Philly players have said that he's very tough on them but that they love playing for him).

Also, he's relatively young and, if successful, can be here for a long time, which you'd have to think Mara will like, especially after the 1.5-and-done McAdoo stint.

Schwartz had more success in Detroit than McDaniels did in Denver. I don't understand the infatuation that some people have with mvdaniels.. I don't want the Giants to become the proving grounds for inexperienced or failed coaches.

If anything, I'd take Mike Smith as the head coach and take a chance on someone like defilippo to run the offense.

Oh, and if NO and Payton part ways I would pray for the Giants to hire the guy.

Same here, but after the season NO is having, I'm guessing there's almost zero chance that Payton leaves or is forced out. Ya never know, though, I guess...
