My ET senses are tingling. How fitting with the username..
Joseph has shown absolutely nothing to warrant his stay. If he loses to KC (who doesn't give a **** about this game) and loses badly to top it off...he better get his *** canned right at the podium. Start all over. Get people that know what the **** they are doing.
Aside from the "leader of men notion" that we have been fed all off-season/season long that couldn't be more false.....one of the traits that Joseph apparently had was an excellent "talent evaluater."
He hasn't made a single move to warrant that notion. His prepping sucks. His in-game management sucks. His accountability sucks. I don't even think he understands X's and O's. He brings nothing to the table. He doesn't run a defense or an offense...so literally his only job is to make sure people are doing their jobs and in-game manage.
How many times this year has he saved time-outs for the first half only to use timeouts when the game is out of hand? That **** ain't sending a message. We're getting mutilated against Philly and Miami and he thinks it's cute to call a timeout at the end of the game to "keep competing."
What player got better under Joseph? None.
all the players that improved significantly...were on the DL. Shelby Harris D.Peko, Gotsis...they all improved tremendously...but guess what....Bill Kollar was the reason for that. He's the game's best DL coach. No doubt about that. You can't really accredit that to Joseph.
I've said it before and I'll say it again...Joseph did not inherit a broken franchise. It broke under him. We haven't been this bad in like 40 years..that is saying A LOT.
So yea...he didn't get much help at the QB spot. But he knew very well what he was getting into. And he had Brock the entire year. At anytime he could of easily put Brock in as the starter once Siemian broke down (at half for the second Charger game)...he waited until two of the hardest games on the schedule to make a move. It was already over then.
Yea, a QB fixes a lot of things...but what value is Joseph bringing to the table? What is the x-factor to keep him? Because if the QB doesn't work out...are all the teams that he leads going to end up like this **** fest?
If they get steamrolled against KC in a glorified preseason game....his *** is canned. No mercy.
Going on your 4th or 5th coach in as many year's is how you remain a bottom dweller in the league, any body with this view simply doesn't understand the real world of football, fan emotions wont mean a thing because the minute they are winning game's next year these same fan's will act like they never bashed the player/coach and be right back on the band wagon. So im not concerned with the raging emotional fire Vance Joseph nonsense. It ain't happening and it shouldn't happen, Elway knows better, Joseph is Elways guy and believes in Joseph, he didn't hire Joseph too come in and have it all together in year one, especially when you give him the worst offense in the league and he's a defensive guy..... But Joseph will adapt and Elway knows this.
Loser franchises fire coaches after one year and Denver isn't stooping that low.
Next year will be way different.
:he knew what he was getting into? Did he? He's a brand new rookie head coach, as prepared as one might think you are it's a whole different ball game once you are wearing the hat.....this season overwhelmed Joseph a bit especially the losing streak and that's why you heard the old cleshay lines and repeated line's about practice lol.
His players will run through a wall for him next year though for not giving up on them and refusing too throw guy's under the bus publicly like many fans wanted.
Trust the process.... Lol
Regardless of the results Sunday, Vance needs to go. As stated before, the botching of Siemians benching, the McKenzie usage, the constant 'deer-in-the-headlights' look on the sidelines, not just the losing streak, but the way we've lost games this year. The team lacks competitiveness and plays undisciplined. To say he lost the locker room would be incorrect, because i dont think he had the locker room at any point this season.
The Dallas game was the only game i came away impressed with the game planning, scheme, and personnel usage. The creativity he implemented in that game to defend Zeke and Dak was inspiring. But 1/16 shouldnt save your job.. a job you're clearly not qualified for.
If Jay Gruden, or Hue Jackson are available, go get em
You are blinded by typical fan pouting. The defense was very competitive, they just got tired of having this pathetic offense,
Vance isn't going anywhere though and it's not even worth arguing about it any further because it's not going too happen and there are lots of things to be excited about going forward if elway does what he's supposed too do.

Competitive in everything except points allowed. If the defense gave up, that's on the head coach.
I find it interesting that 3 teams came out today and said that their coach will be back next year (TB, WAS, and NYJ). Why isn't Elway giving VJ a vote of confidence? Why has he stayed quiet when the media and fans out here have been ripping VJ constantly for the last two months? Maybe because he realizes that VJ is as clueless as the fans and media believe he is.
Because coming out and giving this (vote of confidence) is beneath Elway and he know he has no plan to fire Vance so why even bother? Elway doesn't care about fans pouting over a player or coach man..... The Broncos wil still sell out every game, if all of you that pout here had season tickets for next year and you said too hel with the game's next year there would literally be thousands that will happily take those season tickets and go support there Broncos.
Like I really don't think anyone can come up with a good reason to keep him other than the lazy argument that "The Browns get rid of coaches so the time so we'd be just as pathetic as them."
You know what else the Browns do? Keep head coaches that have no business being a head coach. Hugh Jackson is about to be 1-31 in two seasons as their head coach but they're still keeping him. Bad franchises are okay with mediocrity. Denver isn't a bad franchise, and because of that, they need to get rid of Joseph. He's clearly in way over his head.
