    2018 Opponents

Because....well because we need something to look forward too. So, expecting some big off-season signings and a healthy roster, here is our opponents for next season.

    HOME
    Packers
    Lions
    Vikes
    Rams
    Seahawks
    Patriots
    Jets
NFC South same place finisher (Tampa)

    AWAY
    Packers
    Lions
    Vikes
    49ers
    Cardinals
    Bills
    Dolphins
NFC East same place finisher (Giants)

Brutal. That home schedule makes me feel nauseous. Trubisky better make a 2nd year leap like Goff and Wentz or else we could be looking at another 10-loss season. Sorry to poop on everyone's day with these opponents.

Rams, Pats, Seahawks will be tough, but if this team is improved and the coaching is improved it's not that bad... you never know who's going to fall off and who will be better this far out too.

Well. Winning our division requires us to win our division games more than anything.

And while our home schedule sucks..... Our away schedule looks easy outside of our conference games

Look at it this way 2018 teams

Bears are set to play 11 teams right now who are at or bellow .500 this year

    Lions x2 6-6
    Packers x2 6-6
    Jets 5-7
    Bucs 4-8
    49er 2-10
    Cards 5-7
    Bills 6-6
    Phins 5-7
    Giants 2-10

If we can improve to beat these teams..... 11 wins could be the playoffs.

Obviously that said. A lot depends on the offseason... Additions..... But mainly coaching. But after seeing the rams flip like they have. And eagles as well. Maybe we can be next.

Outside of the Patriots that schedule is meaningless to me.

My optimistic prediction: We bring in a good coaching staff and at least 1 stud WR.

Losses: Pats, Seahawks, 1 game each to the Vikes and Pack, then probably drop one more in there somewhere.

    Record = 11-5

Exactly...so much volatility in this league. There are very few teams that are guaranteed to be good/bad among that group besides them, and I suppose GB with Rodgers.

The good thing is the tough matchups are at home. This roster has so much potential that can be unlocked with a good coaching staff. Not to mention the amount of money Pace will be able to spend.
