    Rob Gronkowski's Dirty Hit

Surprised this isn't being talked on here but Gronk just had one of the dirtiest cheap shots yesterday after the play was over that caused Tre'Davious White a concussion

I think he has to get suspended right? How many games?

Based on the recent fights, this should be at least 2 games.

If the NFLPA is actually interested in player safety, they'll be asking the NFL to remove him for the season, though.

I think what will actually happen is 1 game though.

He's a Patriot, so he'll get 1 game and appeal it until only an irrelevant game remains.

Minimum of 2 is what should happen. Given the play was completely over it should be more.

Then there's Jimmy Smith....given 4 games for PEDs and drops the appeal 'cause he blew out his Achilles so is done for the year anyway. OK, so when did the suspension come down then if he played yesterday but already dropped the appeal today? And why should you be able to serve a suspension while injured?

    2 games.

This stuff has no place in the game. I love Gronk but this is indefensible.

Carson, trust me, even if you turn out to be a really bad QB, BDawk4Prez will always defend you on PSD.

He should get a game IMO and I really don't see an argument he shouldn't. And I mean actually serve a game... if that means suspend him for 2 and appeal down to 1 then do that. But none of this suspend one game and appeal down to none.

2 games and he will appeal down to 1. Bad decision by a guy who I dont think has any history of such things.

He had that play vs. Sergio Brown where he "threw him out the club" but that was going hard past the whistle when they were already face to face. It's not like he snuck up on him the way he did in this play. Just a despicable act by Gronk really.

He should get a 4 game suspension appeal down to 3.

Should be 3, down to 2 after appeal. Make him miss the Pitt game then come back for the rematch vs Buffalo and they can take his knees out. That was such a ****ing cheap shot and an absolute dick move.

I think with the lack of history it will be 1 game. Maybe 2 and he appeals down to 1... dumb play. Itís pretty rare that on field occurrences result in more than a game

Looks like Gronk got one game. I'm assuming he'll appeal.

He really shouldnít.... that would risk him missing the Pittsburgh game.

Hopefully they deny the appeal. He deserves a game. If this is the final outcome it's fair IMO. If it's ultimately gonna be reduced they should have given him 2 that way when it gets knocked down he's still out a game.

It was just an awful, inexcusable play. If this ends up being the only blip on the radar he's not gonna rot in hell or anything but you gotta be punished for **** like that.
