Reactions around NFL - a lot of ex-Giants reactions. No different than the reaction of Giants fans.

    Don't worry. He's got this.

Eli Manning to be benched for Geno Smith

He should go to the Jets next year.

    I was actually thinking this.

    Would love to have him.

He's an upgrade over Josh McCown.

So why is the Giants tanking such a bad thing?

You're going to draft another Franchise QB.
A new coach and a new GM.

    Lucky! Count your blessings.

Mara should sign IK Enemkpali to a 1 day contract to fix this. I'd pay him $3M to punch Reese, MacAdoo and Geno.

No need to punch JPP in the face. Just flick a few black cats and m-80s his way. That should do the trick.

Right so who cares that he's playing? The team is 2-9

Yes. I donít quit on rooting for a team that isnít winning, but when there is a fundamental issue with the franchise, like disrespecting their greatest QB ever and the fans while sticking with a terrible head coach, **** them. Thatís unacceptable and the minute Eli isnít starting this Sunday, itís irreversible.

    Eli deserves better.

Fix the OL , get healthy and the Giants can be back next year with Eli as the QB.
I donít see this going down if they think Eli is playing next year.

Either Webb is being prepped for next year or if heís not the guy, they are prepping he and Geno to start while they draft a QB (not a reliable direction to go in).

If Eli is their QB next year I only see it happening under a new HC.

That's awful.

Please remember this: the Yankees treated a player, ARod, who was suspended for a year and threatened to sue them and the sport 1000x better than the Giants today treated an organizational icon in Eli Manning. Frankly, it is mind boggling. Mara and Tisch should be ashamed.

    It started with Josh Brown.

The Giants ownership is lacking in credibility even more than testicular fortitude.

We should all boycott until Mac and JR are gone. This is a disgrace beyond words.

I agree with you 100%. Neither Mara nor Tisch have the fortitude to make the hard decisions. The hardest decisions that have been made by the organization since Wellington passed have been made by other individuals, like Reese.

I'm not going to lie, I keep checking the news to see if the Giants organization did the right thing and fired Mac and Reese and put an end to this nonsense.
