FWIW, I've been told Ryan Pace plans to use his list of potential HC candidates that he interviewed w/ when he was hired for the original #Bears gig. Obviously a few names will get added but he's had eyes on a few candidates for 3+ years.

Looks like some BS, only interview that isnít a HC now is Tyrell Austin. Not to mention, that seemed like the Bears list, not his.

Gase, Fox, Marrone, Quinn, Bowles, Austin (minority requirements interview)

Any chance Gase gets canned in Miami?

Obviously he's going to interview new candidates. The assumption that he's going to stick with a 3 year old list (especially when most of them are off the table) is ridiculous.

When you loose your starting QB its hard to blame the coach too. Tannahill was likely better than jay at this point.... Maybe by more than we know.

Yeah looks like the shoulder surgery did Jay in, now he has another concussion, my guy just needs to retire. I want to see him in the booth anyway!

I agree, Cutler should probably retire. He should be entertaining in the broadcast booth.
The guy has made his money, taken his lumps ... walk away while you can JC.

I would not be surprised if they took a look at pat shurmur he's done a great job with keenum and those WRs. Time with the browns may not be indicative of the job he could do with a better roster.

Just watched a few videos of his interviews and post-game, dude is a bit of a strange talker.

    Other than that, interesting.

    Shurmur deserves an interview, IMO.

My list right now would be DeFillipo, Reich, Nagy, Shurmur, Toub, and if Harbaugh wants the gig he's got it.

That's a pretty good list, not sure about Nagy but the others are all good IMO.

If Josh McDaniels says he wants to come to Chicago but wants his gm to be Nick Caserio do we fire Pace?

You move on to the next guy. You're essentially handing control to McDaniels from day 1 and that's the main reason he failed in Denver.

I honestly don't mind McDaniels, but you definitely don't let him control anything.
