I get the sense this season is going to spiral out of control and they finish with only 4-5 wins.

Fox is gone regardless, but that locker room has to feel defeated after all this talk of a Playoff push during the bye. They're likely only going to be favored in 2 of these last 7 games (CLE, SF).

I really don't care at this point. We have lost all our key games (Minn and Packers without Rodgers) that would have made us at least a contender. I still want to see them compete. But honestly a higher pick sounds fine at this point over a few more meaningless wins.

I think a higher pick would also give better trade down opportunity since we currently lack a 3rd. And maybe somebody overpays for a QB in a trade up.

I don't really care either, just commenting on how a lot of fans (not necessarily here) thought this team could push for a Playoff spot in the 2nd half, yet that all went out the window after losing to the Packers. I imagine that loss was pretty deflating in the locker room as well. They probably won't be bad enough for a top 5 pick, but I think they'll land in the 7ish range.

My only concern at this point is seeing progress with Trubisky and several of the other key (young) players.

Oh, and I think this is a loss too...24-13.

It will be interesting to see how many QBs go off the board this draft. There are plenty of QB needy teams. And loads of teams with OLD qbs who should be looking too

    Teams in need

    Bills
    Jets
    Broncos
    Browns

    Teams probably with needs

    Cardinals
    Jags

Teams that could replace or for future

    Redskins (cousins no lock)
Saints (brees is old and a FA)
    Patriots ( Brady's future replacement)
    Chargers (Rivers future replacement)
Ravens (not sure how they view Flaco now)
Bengles (All that talent and Dalton throwing to them)
Colts (luck may not be the answer?)
Giants (Eli is old.... And just not great)
Vikings (Bradford and Bridgewater are huge ? And both FA)

    15 teams

    Brees
    Cousins
    Mccaron
    Bradford
    Bridgewater
    Maybe Luck

    Draft prospects with good potential

    Sam Darnold
    Lamar Jackson
    Josh Rosen
    Josh allen
    Luke Falk
    Clayton Thorson
    Baker Mayfield

Handful of those end up Bust but loads of teams looking for their guy

15 potential needy teams and 12-13 reasonable available guys. And how many If those teams would be willing to jump up for their guy

    Could be interesting

I'm just hoping for progression from Mitch at this point. That's the only thing keeping me interested in watching the games right now.

Bears win because I want them too, because Detroit isn't really that good, because it will drive fans crazy ... if only we had beat Green Bay we'd be 5-5 etc...

Detroit wins because, well it is the Bears we are talking about.

I think Detroit can be a contender, they've just been inconsistent this year. Bears will propel them into consistency and the Lions will overtake the Vikings and win the division.

    27-10 Lions

Well, they do have a favorable schedule. I don't think they are better than Minnesota though. They were exposed by the Saints.

To be fair, the Saints are fantastic. I think I just love me some gunslingers- Stafford is fun to watch.

That Vikings team is a QB away from being unbeatable

31 points for the Bears with their awesome run run pass/sack offense? I guess you are counting on 4 pick sixes.
