Bills vs Saints game day thread

No Glen or Zay Jones today. With the way Zay was playing the last couple games, it would have been nice to see what he does out there today.

The Jets game was a game we should have won and lost. This saints team is a game we should lose, but at home in the cold, we will win.

Iím banking a lot of money today on a very big game from McCoy as well as Tyrod. Along with having a side bet on Kelvin getting at least 5 catches 75 yards and a TD.

Just watch the offensive line today. Against the Jets, those sacks werenít due to Tyrod not getting rid of the ball fast enough. If the sack or tackle comes at Tyrod head on, then perhaps he isnít throwing it away, but if they are coming from behind, like at the Jets, the line isnít doing their job.

Well itís going to be a repeat of the Jets game. Run, run, and only pass when they know your going to pass on 3rd and long, then punt.

McDermott is too much in love with the run game. Even though Tolbert has been horrible, he is even running it with Tolbert on first and 2nd down for no gains, when McCoy is on the sidelines. Iíd rather loose watching the Bills and Tyrod throwing it all day long, rather than watching the run first play calling mentality that we have seen here with the Bills. Tolbert canít even be trusted on short 3rd and 1 situations. Why McDermott continues to use him is getting embarissing.

Well we learned that our run defense is just as bad as it was the last couple years. At one point today, 21 straight runs and our Defense couldnít come close to stopping them. With the stable of running backs we face coming up, and with the coaches coming up with zero ideas in how to stop it, it looks like we are screwed.

In the first half, on three 3rd down plays, Dennison ran plays where not even one WR ran past the first down marker. The mindset apparently was that our WRís are faster than the defense so they were solely depending on yards after the catch. With that train of thought, no wonder why we havenít beaten a winning team all year.

Is it Dennison or McDermott to blame for our offense? As we have seen many times this year, on first down in the red zone, fat Tolbert is in the game with McCoy on the sidelines . Then as usual, he does nothing. He comes up short on third and inches and it doesnít appear that the coaches even care about all the negative yard gains. 3rd and 15 this team runs a draw. After the saints opening drive TD in the 2nd half, our offense comes out running on the first two plays, then punts and the predictability is becoming embarrassing.

But sadly, offensively, it doesnít even matter anymore. If these upcoming teams run through us like the Jets and Saints did, opponents wonít have any trouble scoring 40 per game.
