I like Morton but i really question his gameplay and play calling today. I also question the heart of the OL

If Bowles thinks we are going 5-1 on that schedule, he's a fool.

Throw in the towel and lets see who we have as players.

I think we could squeeze 3-3 or 4-2 if we were great. Still won't get us into post season. Hang it up and play the kids.

I totally agree. Morton must become less predictable and more aggressive with his play calling. Anderson has a long pass touchdown in each of the last three games. Need to see more down the field throws. OL was the main reason for this loss. They couldn't pass protect (6 sacks 14 hits allowed) and could not open any holes for the run game. Add the holding calls and you have a total disaster.

Going forward it is time for the kids to play. Glad to see Hanson get his first 2 receptions and Steward getting some playing time. I think they will both be pretty good. I would also like to see Petty and or Hack get some playing time. It would be difficult to bench Mac because he is playing well. We already know what he can do, not so with Petty and Hack. Benching him would indicate to the rest of the team that they are giving up on this season. That is not an ideal situation and it is not fair to Mac but I would still like to see it done. They also have to fix this OL because no matter what they do @ QB won't work without at least a decent OL.

I was at the game; Raymond James is actually a nice stadium. The offensive line stunk and penalties were killer.

With that said for the rest of the schedule, I will say the same thing I say all the time: It is all about which NY Jets team decides to show up. If the one I saw in Tampa shows up the next 6 games, the Jets will be 1-5 or 0-6 and staring at 4-12 or 5-11 and a top 4-6 draft choice.

If the Jets team shows up like it did against Buffalo on Thursday night, or Miami in week 3, the Jets can very easily go 4-2 down the stretch.
