I'd take Sale in the AL and Scherzer in the NL. Kluber a fine choice as well. Don't feel good about a SP with only 175 IP taking the Cy unless his numbers are on a completely other level compared to his competition.

Would have rather seen Jansen on the NL ballot than one of Kershaw and Strasburg.

Fourth amongst qualified pitchers in fWAR. I'd go with Kluber personally, but can't go wrong with Sale either. Going to be a tough one. Kluber stuggled out the gate, missed all but 3 innings in May, but went on a tear the rest of the year. Sale started well, but faltered a bit down the stretch.

Also, I agree with whoever said Scherzer. Can't believe both Strasburg and Kershaw, with 175 innings each, made the cut.

My point is that even though Kershaw might not be the favorite & Matt S probably wins. Even if Kershaw was likely to win it would be "eh okay that's great". Kershaw probably even feels the same. All these awards mean less when you continue to lose in the playoffs.

I used to as well. Like 08, 09 etc.

Of course, the Cards haven't had anyone relatively close since then really either.
