Royals have offered QO's to Hosmer, Moustakas, and Cain per Heyman.

Tanaka is not opting out of his contract.

    Best outcome for the Yanks.

I didn't think he would. Good start to the off-season

Cueto doesn't opt out and will remain a Giant through 2021. He has four years and $84M remaining on his deal with a $22M option and $5M buyout for 2022.

Cueto and Tanaka are two guys I wouldn't be thrilled about not opting out. Its great for them but I don't know how good it is for their respective teams. They have the ability to pitch better than they did in 2017 but they also gave up a ton of home runs last year which isn't a good sign with the home run explosion league wide.

Ian Kennedy doesn't opt out and will stay with the Royals for three years, $49M.

Tanaka and Cueto not opting out really helps Lynn, Darvish, and Arrieta out.

Yup, though how much the WS flops will hurt Darvish?

I don't think too much, if at all. He pitched well in his previous two Postseason starts and pitched well after the trade.

I hope it does and somehow his market becomes low enough for the Mets to get him.
