Sad, but he wasnít producing. Would rather see him get healthy.

Tapp though? There wasnít any better prospect?

Should have taken a flyer on 37 year old Dwight Freeney. Brought him in on pass rushing downs only. Vet with experience and a proven pass rusher throughout his career with 122.5 sacks (14.5 in the past 3 years in 42 games). Only McCoy and Ayers have more. Would have been low risk but would have produced better than Spence. Could have passed on some knowledge to Russell, Gholston and some others.

Seattle signed him and they will reap the benefits of his experience chasing the playoffs.

Are we already going there? Can they get a couple years under their belt? It wasnít but 7 games ago we were talking about how well Hargreaves and Spence did and that we were looking forward to their contribution in the future. Ryan Smith has struggled, but has been asked to switch positions and has been up and down. Benenoch is a solid backup on the OL, and Bond was set to start.

Itís been an ugly start for almost the entire team this year - letís slow things down and breathe for a second yea?

Hey when you cut your 2nd round kicker and your other 2nd round pick can't stay healthy with chronic shoulder injuries at a position that requires you to put your hand in the dirt and make moves, it is what it is.

Yep Grimes is the big one with a shoulder injury and McClain is in concussion protocol. This is our season and we really need all hands on deck. Lose this and its another season where we're looking at next years mock drafts before November...

I don't know how we possibly make it without Grimes. Maybe past Carolina, but def not against Brees and New Orleans. I had hope that if we win these next 2 games, we would be back in good position, but that hope is dwendling.

Also, if the doctors said Winston couldn't hurt his shoulder any worse by playing, then how did he hurt his shoulder worse by playing in Buffalo? This is not looking good at all

Yea losing Grimes is awful I have doubts he returns next year, he's getting up there in age might just say screw it and retire. We really need Hargreaves to man the fu(k up for once this season today. This season is starting to have the look of an unmitigated disaster.

It's been widely reported that he considered retiring this off-season and has other ambitions in life. If he plays anymore I'd be surprised, either way he's not a long term option.

Hargreaves is up and down, so far today playing well. The coverages and play calls combined with weak pass rush isn't helping anyone in our secondary.

That's what happens when you're 2-4 and losing games you should win. If Folk didn't implode at home and Humphries wasn't such a ***** the stadium would be rocking for a 4-2 team looking to get nasty in the division.

God we need a turnover in the worst way right now. Can't be shut out going into half...
