Unlike with other recent WS matchups a vast amount of notable players have played for both the Dodgers and Astros.

Jeff Kent, Don Sutton, Jerry Reuss, Phil Garner, Cesar Cedeño, Jose Vizcaino, Bud Norris, to name a few.

And that includes Kenny Lofton too, Rush.

I like Houston but wouldn't be a bit surprised if the Dodgers won. Won't be unhappy with either.

    Dodgers will win out.

5 or 6 games; depends on when LA steals a game from Houston.
We’re pointing out that these statistics breed false narratives, and we value the truth. This isn’t about replacing old numbers with new numbers, or attempting to dissuade anyone from enjoying the aesthetics of the game. It is simply about telling the average fan about the reality of what actually happened on the field. The “Holy Trinity” of baseball statistics fail at this most basic task, and so they are not worth deifying any longer. - Dave Cameron

    Comeback from disaster (Houston).

Throwing $3 billion at the roster finally pays off (Dodgers)

The Dodgers starting lineup has one of the lowest combined salary totals of any team in the playoffs.

The Astros... Years of sucking on purpose, accumulating draft picks, and hacking other teams has finally paid off.

Both teams have excellent scouting and player development. Both deserve to be playing in this world series
