Need the W, even if it's gotta be ugly. Bare bones expectations for D: just don't leave guys uncovered and wide open like last game. Literally all I'm asking at this point. Stop the coverage breakdowns.

Harmon said the D is as simple as it can be, so the communication needs to get better. Every single down. Hightower and McCourty are the leaders, they need to be talking constantly with their guys, they need to take charge.

It is simple, but i am not sure Gilmore gets it, not sure he fits the system they are trying to run, and honestly i would love to see them change it up and be more aggressive on defense today.

Branch a DNP CD, didn't even travel. He's been getting knocked down all year. BB sending message.

Gronk banged up expected to play.

Gilmore has to play because of injury - start praying.

Pats are going to try and mix run, screens, and an occasional 15 yarder to have time consuming drives to keep D off the field. If we get nailed in TOP then we're going to get beat.

After FA it looked like we had a highway to the SB, now we have to go over mountains on side roads just to get to a home playoff berth.

Lots of bad luck, some poor choices (if you have a DE that just rushes, swallow your ego (he's a one year and out guy) and go forward.

I hope BB takes over the DB coaching duties.

Another game Brady is going to have to put up a player of the week type performance to win. This long season and the amount of hits he's taken already is alarming.

Unless the D goes on a near U turn and the team gets healthy we are not going to defend.

    This game is mammoth.

    I can't help smelling 2009 and 2005 and 2002...

Gilmore is smiling on TV, let's hope that means something good... they've got some WR over there.

Im hoping for an aggressive defensive gameplan, no more conservative bend but dont break(which has shattered this year) defense
