Tanaka is a HOME starter not a road warrior...Save him for Game 3

Game 1 Gray (geez, doesn't anybody want this guy on the team anymore?)
    Game 2 Sevy

    Game 3 Tanaka
    Game 4 CC
    Game 5 Gray

    Game 6 Sevy
Game 7 CC on short rest with Tanaka waiting in the pen

You just said Gray was awful, a waste, and we should've kept the kids about a week ago. Now you question if any of US want him? Lol

A lot of credit to go around for last night.

    Gardner's epic AB
    Didi's bombs
    D-Rob getting the DP
    CC's 1st 4 innings
    Frazier's heads up baserunning

With Betances as unreliable as he is, the front office needs to take a bow for the trade that brought Frazier, D-Rob, and Kahnle here. Hard to imagine this team succeeding as they have without those guys.

I'd go with this, but would start Tanaka in the final game with CC in reserve. I think CC would warm up faster in relief, if needed.

Agree. Most thought Kahnle was the key to trade. Robertson has been great and Frazier has become a nice part of team. Give him credit for that.

Houdini getting that double play last night was huge. The Todd Frazier at bat before the Gardner at bat was great as well.

This team is so much fun to watch.

And I agree with sonny, sevy, Tanaka and cc

How long is the wait to talk to MAD DOG?

He irritates me when he said the Indians lost the series not the Yankees winning it....

    Is he nuts?

I think it was a 9 pitch at bat. Fun to watch-yep! Young, Hungry and the players are having fun. Stick with the young core. If youíre going to invest in big name Free Agents down the line, make it a pitcher. Do we really want to sign a guy for 400K for 8-10 years. We have been down that road before. (Long Contracts) and know how 90 percent of them play out.

Agree. With CC's experience I'd trust him more coming in in a big spot late in the game and he'd be better with fewer innings anyway. I also like Tanaka's chances in game 1 better than Gray's, so have him go 1/4/7. If you're going to win the WS you have to move beyond the "this guy can't pitch on the road" stuff.

If you remember me, which I sincerely doubt, I will refresh your memory.

I am the Met fan who as a New Yorker was and is rooting for the Yankees. After the second game loss and posters were posting all is lost, fire Giradi, I posted not to panic because the team was too good and the series was going back to Cleveland with an excellent chance of winning as the team had clobbered Kluber in game 2 and could do so again.

I have a good feeling about the Astro series as I am not enamored with their pitching. The Yankees are not afraid of Verlander at all; they have always been able to hit him. And the other Astro pitchers should not worry the Yanks. Keuchel is not the same pitcher that dominated the team in the 1 game playoff.

The Astros are a much better hitting team than the Indians though and could pose a problem. Negate Altuve and Correa and should be victory

My prediction is that the Yankees will be going toi the WS !!!
