I'll take a team full of Posey's over a team sprinkled with guys that have "flair and attitude". Winning jumpstarts a clubhouse more than anything. Harper and Machado both seem like hothead punks to me but I'd welcome either due to what they can offer between the lines. Having said that, I 100% don't expect either to sign with the Giants.

Oh, I absolutely agree with both you and Spliff on this. I probably stated wrong. Yes, at this point I would probably want Darvish over JC.

He does eat innings but maybe we haven't had the offense to back him up which makes me wonder what our run out put is when Bum is pitching. Anyway what I was trying to say was I'm a little uncomfortable with taking bits and pieces from our pen if possible trades come up. Like Strick, I'd like to keep him.

Are the Giants done with roster moves, or is there a diamond out there in the rough?

Probably 1 or 2 minor moves. I could see them getting another reliever for cheap. I'm pretty convinced that Jackson/Duggar is going to be the opening day centerfield platoon. I don't see any better options on the market.

Wasn't Duggar named AFL player of the league?

    Giants bring back Gregor Blanco.

Edit: It's on Rotoworld and the source is Gregor Blanco's Instagram

Kinda a funny move. I heard he's one of the nicest guys in baseball, so if anything this might just be a signing to keep him around for spring training moral.

They don't just sign people for morale. He's there for depth. Still can get on base well, decent outfielder, and good base runner.

and he knows how to play AT&T CF so could be a good resource for Duggar learning

Pence, Blanco, Jackson, McCutchen most likely make 25 man. That means 0 or maybe one of Parker, Williamson, Hernandez, Duggar or Slater perhaps make the cut.
