Nice thing is we got mitch in early enough where we can more or less still control our destiny. It would be hard. But we can gain 2 games on the lions and Vikings if we can beat them.

I don't expect us to have a magical turnaround. But at least there is a chance.

Having a chance makes all the different in watchability.

I'm excited for the rest of the season now.

Off topic but i thought that Kwit had the same injury as freeman. Was that just early speculation that was false. It would be wonderful to get hin back

IIRC it was later revealed to not be as severe as initially thought. Still not sure when he's gonna be back though.

That was my biggest complaint about Pace this off-season. Completely ignored a thin, critical position in both FA and the draft.

The position wasnít thin tho injuries happen , LB was def a strength going into the season . If anything we had too many thus some players had to be cut to fill other spots

To be fair we were not thin until injuries started accumulating. If we had floyd Mcphee (who is healthy) Young and Houston we would be fine. But we have lost two already. Mcphee is a ticking time bomb too.

At this point. We are so beat up we could say the same thing about any of our pisitions.

We clearly need a new staff to deal with players injuries though

    Wow what happened to Young?

The pass rush has already been underwhelming. Bears need another stud OLB and they could really use another DE as well.

Bears have lost 4 LBs thst were expected to be at minimum quality rotational players if not starters in freeman (starter ) Kwit (quality depth) Houston (Quality depth ) and Young (fringe starter pending Mcphee)

Well I think it might lead to Irving getting called up who was getting a lot of pressure to the qb in pre season. See what the young guy can do
