unfortunately they aren't and trust me dems like Manchin are scared to death... although I think he would vote for it because they wouldn't need his vote to filibuster it.

Manchin, Tester, and probably Heidkamp (sp) would likely vote for it and maybe a few more would consider it.

The GOP tax plan creates one of the largest new loopholes in decades, The new permanent tax deduction disproportionately benefits the wealthy (Trump and his cabinet), it penalizes workers and will ultimately reward those who can afford the best tax advice.

There is a hint of a blue wave on the horizon for 2018, Many voters will want to limit and roadblock Trump, they feel voting Democratic is the way to achieve that.

wait ... what... we are going to have to vote against making tax cuts permanent for middle class families and then run for reelection...

No, you don't get to try to have your cake and eat it too. Earlier in this thread Brewer was posting about how AT&T was planning to give workers bonuses and invest Billions if Trump's tax cut is passed and now that they are laying people off suddenly they are a dying industry that needs to lay of employees to stay solvent?

Remember everything critics of the tax bill were saying about the bill in here? Yeah, turns out Marc Rubio agrees:

    http://thehill.com/policy/finance/36...p-corporations

said in an interview published Friday that Republicans “probably went too far” cutting corporate taxes in their just-enacted overhaul of the tax code.

Rubio said he expects corporations to pay out higher dividends to shareholders and buy back shares to increase their stock price with proceeds from the bill.

“You’re going to see a lot of these multinationals buy back shares to drive up the price,” Rubio told the southwest Florida-based News-Press.

“Some of them will be forced, because they’re sitting on historic levels of cash, to pay out dividends to shareholders,” Rubio said. “That isn’t going to create dramatic economic growth.”

    GOP Tax Plan

I'll give Rubio a little credit for admitting that lol. Wish he would have worked harder to make it better if he agrees with most about the bill though.

Oh come off it; anything going to workers, charities, and the like are coming out of the PR departments.

Check out what's going to the stockholders (the PR departments are not publicizing that).
