FWIW, Pomeranz has already thrown more pitches this year than any previous season and will soon surpass his IP max as well. Not really a huge surprise since he's only been a full-time SP for a couple of years but it's worth noting. The Sox guidelines used to be to add 15IP/yr and Pomeranz will be well beyond that if the Sox get very far in the playoffs. His bad outing might just be a fluke. Or it might be the onset of fatigue... which would seemingly be corroborated by the 3MPH drop in his fastball

IMO I think we should have put Price back in the rotation and called up Johnson rest Sale and Drew for playoffs.

Wouldn't surprise me one bit if the sox blew this division. Sale can't get it done and he's suppose to be our stopper. We lose tonight then Yankees are only 3 games back. Of course the yanks will keep winning.

I think it's safe to say, sale won't be winning the cy young.
