It's go time. At worst we need a split this series.

I'd rather we bury these ****ers once and for all

Just atleast get a split...Even with a split it would be extremely hard for the Brewers to come back.

3 of 4 or a sweep and they are done.

Also, where the hell did these Brewer starters come from? Bunch of no names and not a single one of them has an ERA over 4...

Yeah I had to actually look them up earlier because I've never heard of them haha. They weren't exactly killing it in the minors either. Hopefully they start regressing today.

Time to end Milwaukee's season.Time to bury their no-namers and overachievers.

Very little chance that the Brewers will sweep the Cubs again, so at minimum the Cubs need to leave Milwaukee with a 2.5 game lead but if the Cubs want to add to that lead, I won't argue with them.

A split more or less buries them. A 4 loss deficit to overcome over the final 6 games is a rather tall order for anyone, much less a team whose rotation is comprised primarily by a bunch of minor league journeymen.

I understand your point, but it's not possible to leave MIL with a 2.5 game lead:

CHC wins 4-0 = 7.5 game lead (Division Champs)
    CHC wins 3-1 = 5.5 game lead (Magic Number = 2)
    Split 2-2 = 3.5 game lead (Magic Number = 4)
    MIL wins 3-1 = 1.5 game lead
MIL wins 4-0 = Cubs trail by 0.5 games

Either way, I agree. Need a split at worst but I'd like to have a celebration on Sunday if you know what I mean

A sweep does not necessarily win the division. It does eliminate the Brewers but the Cardinals wouldn't be eliminated unless they lost 3 of the next 4. Cardinals elimination number is 7, I believe.

ESPN, FOX, and TBS will televise Fri through Sun.

Great news for us fans that live outside of Chicago. The live stream freezes up way too much for me.

lol, understood. As long as the Cubs leave MIL with a multiple game lead, I will be happy.

I'm begging you Joe, please put runners in motion once in a while. Please! That was a perfect time to do it with one of our best hitters and best base runners.
