    Ervin Santana, RHP

    Santana spun six shutout innings against the Padres in his last start. He has lasted at least six frames in five of his previous six outings. Santana has faced the Yankees 19 times in his career, posting a 6-9 record with a 5.78 ERA.

    Jaime Garcia, LHP

    Garcia made just one start for the Twins, a July 28 outing in which he defeated the Athletics, before being traded to the Yankees. With New York, he is 0-2 with a 4.60 ERA in six starts.

    Jose Berrios, RHP

    Berrios went 5 2/3 frames in his last outing, giving up one run on five hits against Toronto. Berrios also matched his season high with four walks and struck out five. This season, Berrios has a 2.45 ERA at home compared to a 5.14 ERA on the road.

    CC Sabathia, LHP

    Sabathia was removed from his most recent start vs. the Rays on Sept. 11 after just 4 1/3 innings, as the Yanks didn't want him to face Evan Longoria a third time. He is 2-0 with a 3.14 ERA since returning from a brief DL stint.

    Bartolo Colon, RHP

    Colon allowed four runs on five hits in six innings against the Blue Jays in his last start. He is 0-3 with a 7.53 ERA in three September starts. In 20 career outings vs. New York, including 19 starts, Colon is 6-8 with a 5.81 ERA in 110 innings.

    Masahiro Tanaka, RHP

    Tanaka bounced back in his last start, defeating the Orioles with seven innings of two-run, eight-hit ball while striking out eight. He had allowed seven runs in four innings in his previous start at Texas.

    Really need to sweep this series but I'd be happy with another series win with 2 of 3.

    Should've let CC pitch the finale vs Bartolo. Could've been the heaviest SP battle in history. Gotta be 700 lbs combined easily.

    Interesting lineup. Probably would have swapped Ellsbury and Bird in the order.
