So....just a fun juxtaposition of things, but...

I just read a sports mockery article from today, arguing about how our WR problem could be solved by Bellamy, because despite his inconsistent hands, he is actually getting open. (Which I somewhat agree with, save for the fact that the dude couldn't catch a damn cold)

Then the very next thing I read is a blurb on Bleacher Report:
Bellamy out/did not practice, with ankle injury.

That is the most Bears series of events that could have happened.... "This WR that can't catch will save this team!!!1111" "and now he's hurt"

I got a good chuckle out of this post. Love the perspective.

I'm really excited for this team. Not this season but we'll be a team to reckon with in the next 2-3 years...

Nick is gonna be our starter for the next 5 years. I know Freeman is a BEAST but Nick is the real deal too

    Agreed.

I think they could win more this year than most expect, but if the injuries keep piling up it may be similar to last year (a lot of close losses).

If Trubisky is the real deal though Pace needs to put the best roster around him while he's still on his Rookie contract and give them a shot at a Super Bowl within the next few years.

I hope your right. The dude makes crushing hits. Last week on special teams looked like he almost detached the guys head he tackled.

Getting him is probably a pipe dream but wouldn't mind kicking the tires on Boyd for cheap since he's seemingly fallen out of favor there.
