Javy looks so much more under control at the plate and at SS as well. Rivera is pretty much the perfect backup catcher for this team next year. Hopefully the Cubs work something out with him.

Grimn is a very much a non tender candidate. It will be interesting to see what they decide to do with Rondon as well.

Hopefully MLB.TV doesn't suck tomorrow as much as it has recently. It's Jen-Ho Tseng's starting debut.

Willy/Rene combo for 2018 would be fine by me. Would love to keep AA but he might be too expensive.

Package Caratini in a deal this winter for a young controlled starter.

Thanks for molding my suggestion of putting La Stella in Right Field, once the division was clinched, into putting him in Center right now. Trying new defensive positioning, once the division is locked up, makes sense. If it doesn't work out no harm caused. But if it does suddenly you have more defensive options to work with in the future.

I get why you hate my suggestion though. Why would anyone want to lose Heyward's elite bat and sparkling 1.7 WAR as their everyday Right Fielder. No need to tinker with defensive changes in meaningless games to get rid of that stud player.

You gotta wonder if Grimm even sniffs the playoff roster as well.
He's awful. That's what happened to Grimm. Playoff roster? No.
