Considered by some to be the best Blackhawks defenseman of all time.

A certain #2 is challenging him for that distinction and one day will have a banner right next to Pierre's. One of the greatest pure skating defenseman that ever played. It's a sad day any time that one of the greats leaves us. I fear that Stan doesn't have much more time with us. So, go see him while you can.

Referring to Mikita? He has dimentia

Keith is so ridiculous. You know you have an absurd core of players when Jonathan Toews will likely end up being number 3 in terms of overall greatness...

Yea, Stan Mikita. I fear we'll lose him next, which is sad. His stories were always so entertaining.

This shocked me the other day even though he lived a good long life. It's never easy losing one of your franchise's all-time greats.
