Dee Ford is a name I skipped over looking at Edge rushers in FA he was hurt this season. But he had 10 sack I’m a backup role 2 years ago. I wouldn’t mind him as a FA signing, but he would stop us from drafting a player. He would however bring the need down to the point we can wait til the 3rd or 4th to draft another Edge

I do like Colvin but wouldn't break the bank on him. I'd see him more as a contingency plan if we can't get a guy like Johnson/Fuller/Butler/1st rounder

Jimmy Garoppolo was 12 for 13 (92.3%) when targeting Trent Taylor on third down with 10 (83.3%) of those resulting in either a first down or a touchdown.

Legalize this **** already! I wonder how many games he'll miss over this BS. Players have to be smarter but as a country this is ridiculous.

Just in case there is anyone in here that doesn't appreciate how good of an offensive coach Kyle Shanahan is, here is a comparison of the 2016 and 2017 Atlanta Falcons:

2016 points per game: 34.1 points per game (1st in the NFL)
2017 points per game: 22.3 points per game (13th in the NFL)

2016 playoffs points per game: 38.0 points per game
2017 playoffs points per game: 18.0 points per game

2016 Matt Ryan stats: 309 yards per game (2nd in the NFL); 117.1 QB rating (1st in the NFL); 9.3 yards per attempt (1st in NFL)
2017 Matt Ryan stats: 256 yards per game (6th in the NFL); 91.4 QB rating (15th in the NFL); 7.5 yards per attempt (13th in the NFL)

2016 rushing stats: 1,928 yards (4th in the NFL); 4.6 yards per carry (4th in the NFL)
2017 rushing stats: 1,847 yards (13th in the NFL); 4.3 yards per carry (6th in the NFL)

So funny going back to read the threads from early in the season on this topic.

Shanahan is dope. That play in the last game of the season where Goodwin was in motion and stopped on a dime to go the opposite direction was absolutely beautiful.

It's nice to know that we not only went 5-0 to close out the season under Jimmy Garoppolo, but we did it against the team that beat the Steelers at Pittsburgh in the playoffs.

I like the fact we won 5 games with Jimmy. But think about if we had him week 2-6 when lost by 3,2,3,3,2... not saying if he was in we would have won all 5 of those games but I have confidence we would’ve won 3 or 4 of them. We could have been a playoff team this year. And that crazy seeing that we are only going to get better with the money we have to spend, the draft pick that we have, and the players that were hurt during that winning stretch will be back. Also our rookies from this year should be much better after getting a lot of game reps this year.

I will say that we would have won all 5 of those and possibly others that we got beat by more. Garoppolo is that much better than Hoyer.

Yeah, totally different year with Jimmy in the whole time.

    Edit: That's what she said.
