But the NBA owner there calls his team the Charlotte Bobcats. His name is Michael Jordan. I heard he was quite an athlete in his youth.

Fair point, didn't even think about them and they're not even 2 miles from BofA Stadium in downtown Charlotte. Prob bc I've gotten to the point of not giving a **** about the NBA

Kind of. Shady was playing hurt most of the year supposedly.

In general the O didn't seem to make the adjustments it needed to, although it did do better with adjustments than some other recent coaches. (aka Bills have been bad at adjustments for about 10 years).

ABC is interested in taking Thursday Night Football from NBC and CBS next season. If this happens, it's generally believed that ESPN's MNF broadcasters (Sean McDonough and Jon Gruden's replacement) would do TNF as well (since ABC and ESPN are both under the Disney umbrella). This would be fitting, since ABC is the original home of MNF.

Seahawks hire Colts QB coach Brian Schottenheimer as offensive coordinator. He previously held OC jobs with the Jets, Rams, and Georgia Bulldogs.

    Steelers fire OC Todd Haley.

Brian Schottenheimer is a truly terrible offensive coordinator. Seahawks fans have my sympathy.

I remember reading an article about him written by a Jets fan, showing how all Jets QBs at the time managed to have their worst year playing under Brian Schottenheimer. He turned Brett Farve into a gun-shy QB! If I manage to find that article again, I'll link it later. Bradford, too, declined to numbers worse than his rookie season while Schottenheimer was OC with the Rams.

I have to remember this hire when it comes to 2018 season predictions. Russell Wilson is almost guaranteed to have a much worse year statistically than 2017. It might be so bad that it messes up Lionel's formula.

Apparently, the Seahawks said in a meeting: "Our offense struggled this past season. Let's hire a coordinator to make our offense even worse."

Technically, Haley wasn't really fired; his contract is up and he wasn't re-signed. But the point is, they didn't want him back.

Pete Carroll is a good coach, but not good enough to survive having two coordinators like that. He would have to be Belichick to make up for it (not that Belichick would have Schottenheimer and Norton running his units in the first place).

Lol that's funny, I just now told my buddy... Pete's a good coach, but not THAT good.
