    Extremely tough week 1 matchup.
It is nice that we got them at home two consecutive seasons in a row.

It should be a heck of a test early. It's way too early to be talking playoffs and there's a ton of football and potential injuries to happen yet. But this may be as big of playoff seeding game as you can get in week 1.

Seattles defense is scary good. But does anyone else not think the Richardson trade is a huge difference maker? They definitely got better and he's a potential impact player on that DL. They are going tonbe really hard to block and tough on D. But they already were going to be tough on D. The plan to beat them was probably already short, quick throws.

And their biggest issue is offense. Mainly that offensive line. Wilson is a wizard at escaping the rush, but he still takes enough hits. And they continue to use resources elsewhere instead of looking to invest in OL.

Hopefully we keep utilizing the short passing game/3 step drop and throw it.

    Get that D line frustrated.

This team is going to know how much better this defense is really early in the season, tough task in Seattle. The following week Atlanta then Cincinatti. At this point I think we have the edge offensively without a question QB's better, WR's better, TE's a slight edge in my view, I'm a believer in this OL especially if Bulaga is good to go. The defense is whats going to decide this game without a question. If the defense is suspect then the offense will have to find a way to mount some serious points against a stacked defense.

    Agreed for the most part.
Bennett, Hendricks, and Rodgers is an awesome trio of TE's but I still think I take Jimmy Graham if I had the choice.

Give me Aaron Ripkowski on some sort of play action. First play of the game.

    Sure.
I guess that means we will get a pretty miserable kick return to start the game.
